Onda uses microwave energy at a frequency absorbed preferentially by adipose tissue, which is what separates it from RF and ultrasound platforms — it addresses the fat layer rather than the dermis or the SMAS. In practice it is used where localised fullness rather than laxity is the concern: jawline, submental area and body.

Treatment is priced by line count so a targeted area and a full face are quoted differently. A staged course is normal rather than a single session.
